Warranty Information
Our instrument clusters are rebuilt with new, better than OEM materials. We stand behind our work place a five-year warranty on the repairs performed. A warranty sticker is placed on the cluster at the time of repair. If the warranty sticker is removed or torn, then warranty will then be void. Warranty can not be kept on vehicles involved in a flood.
Q: Will the cluster have to be programmed when it is returned to me?
A: The only programming would be in the speedometer portion. Instructions are included for programming for the tires on your vehicle.
Q: How long will it take for me to receive the cluster?
A: Please allow up to two weeks for your order to be processed. You may choose to add the front of the line service for a faster build.
Q: Can I drive my truck while the cluster is removed?
A: Most Ford vehicles cannot be driven without the cluster installed. Please check with your mechanic to verify.
Troubleshoot Process
If you are experiencing a speedometer waiver between 50-70 mph, your problem likely lies outside of the instrument cluster. Here is a list of items that will fail and often cause this issue:
Faulty vehicle speed sensor – we recommend purchasing new OEM. When testing, the readings should be between 900 and 2500 ohms.
Chipped tone ring
VSS air gap – Correction: File down mounting side of VSS to adjust clearance
VSS connector and wiring problems on frame rail
